Hello again,

Four goals is all that separates us from Ostersund with only one game left of the season.

So with 21 games played and 51 points each everything still hangs in the balance. The stage is set, and all that stands between us and our fate is 90 minutes of football. Come quarter to four on Saturday afternoon, emotions will be running high whichever way it goes, to say the least. This will be the biggest game I’ve ever been involved in in my short football career to date, and I cannot help but feel luck is on our side.

I remember back in February Lloyd said that he thought ’16 wins would win us the league’ based on what happened last year. So throughout this campaign we’ve used this figure as a benchmark of what was needed to achieve to our goal. However, ironically, on Saturday we reached that magic number against Jusele in emphatic fashion with a 13-1 victory in our best performance to date – to cap off a perfect day every outfield player got their name on the scoresheet.

We started the game really well and scored within the first minute which set us on our way, however we wasted a number of chances shortly after and were deservedly punished. With the game still at one nil, a defensive error allowed them through on goal and they hit an equaliser. Talk about a kick in the teeth.

After this slight setback we continued to impose ourselves on the opposition and scored two more goals before the break to make it three one. There was a heated argument at half time between a number of players, but this can happen when tempers are high and everyone wants to win. We knew that if we continued the second half as we’d finished the first half, that we’d create chances and score more goals.

Fortunately that’s exactly what happened and we went on to scored a further ten goal to record our biggest ever win in the league. The only downer was that Ostersund beat Kramfors 9-1.

Last Saturdays result has given us the upper hand going into the last game but it’s a slight margin. Nobody knows what will happen but one thing that is guaranteed is that it’ll be an eventful day, wish us luck!
