First day in Banner Elk started with a trip to Boone around 1pm (Boone is a town about 20 minutes away from where were living). We went to grab some food and then went to Wall-Mart, which is a massive supermarket, about the same size as Sheffield. We bought everything we needed for our rooms back at college then in the evening the coach took me and two other lads and their parents out for a meal.
