Blue Square Premier outfit Barrow AFC have signed former Burnley Apprentice Ben Woodhead on non-contract terms.
The 19-year-old goalkeeper who was released by the Clarets at the end of last season has been training with Morecambe.
Woodhead was on the bench at Wrexham on Friday night but was left out of the Bluebirds squad for Saturday’s defeat to Cambridge after aggravating a thumb injury.
