Wilding Returns To The Shrews

Shrewsbury Town Football Club have announced that former favourite Peter Wilding will return to the Club in a full time capacity from 1st July.

Wilding will work alongside David Hughes and Wayne Evans as a Technical Development Coach within the Club’s restructured Centre of Excellence.

Clearly delighted by the move, Wilding said:

“It is an exciting opportunity to give something back to the Club where I have some great memories. Being in a position to guide the younger players with the experiences I have gained as part of a new dynamic Youth department is a great prospect.”

Head of Youth David Hughes also welcomed the appointment,

“Peter has a wealth of knowledge and experience which will be of significant benefit to the younger players at the Club, and having seen Peter operate at length this season, his ideas and enthusiasm will be greatly received.”
