Cambridge United Foundation's Seniors Afternoon Tea

Cambridge United Foundation’s Seniors Afternoon Tea

Over the past two seasons, Cambridge United U18s have been taking part in the Cambridge United Foundation’s seniors afternoon tea.

Apprentices help make refreshments for the elderly and sit down and engage with them for the afternoon.

Harsh Joshi, Head of Education at the Club’s Academy told LFE… “Engaging in afternoon tea not only allows our scholars to connect with seniors in Cambridge and season ticket holders, but also equips them with valuable life skills and a deeper understanding of the foundation’s important work, speaking to the seniors and hearing about their life experiences and club memories.

“I strongly believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals, and the addition of this experience contributes to the holistic development of our scholars.”
