Victory!

The girls’ final was the first match played and it was between Queens and Belmont Abbey. Queens won on penalties. Our game followed and again it was on the radio. The game was tight just as it was earlier in the season. It was 0-0 after full time so we went into golden goal extra time.

With 3 minutes to go until penalties we won the game, Squires scored a great individual goal to seal the victory! It was the first time ever that a team in our Conference had won both the League and the Cup. Our record moved to 19-1-1 and it was a great result for all the boys, a win we much deserved after a hard game.
