Tranmere Rovers have accepted an offer for Dale Jennings from Bayern Munich.
The Club has now given permission for the former Tranmere Rovers Apprentice to discuss personal terms with Bayern.
“Bayern have made us a very good offer for Dale and we don’t want to stand in his way of making this incredible move,” Manager Les Parry told the club’s website.
“When a club with the size and history of Bayern come in for you it’s the opportunity of a lifetime and I wish Dale all the best should the transfer happen.”
“It also says a lot about the Club’s youth system that one of the giants of European football is interested in signing one of our players,” added Parry.
Should the deal go through Jennings, who was the League One Apprentice of the Year last season, will become the second graduate of Rovers famed youth programme to leave the club in a matter of days with Aaron Cresswell joining Ipswich Town last Friday.
