Norwich City’s young keeper Declan Rudd has received a late call-up to the England U19’s European Championships in Ukraine.
Rudd, who recently agreed a new three-year deal with the Canaries, will be competing with Middlesbrough’s Jason Steele for the keeper’s jersey throughout the tournament.
Tuesday’s match ended 1-1 against Switzerland and England are currently at the top of the Group table after the other Group A game ended in a 0-0 draw between Ukraine and Slovenia.
Their next match will take place this evening (KO 17.30) against hosts Ukraine, and the last group game is on Monday 27th July against Slovenia (17.00).
The semi-finals take place on Thursday 30th July and the final on Sunday 2nd August.
