Rangers Sign Vale Teenager

Ross in action against Chelsea

Stafford Rangers have signed Port Vale teenager Ross Davidson on a month-long loan.

The 19 year old midfielder is a product of the Valiants Youth set-up and has made 26 appearances for their first team since making his debut in April 2008.

Rangers boss Chris Brindley feels Davidson can have a big impact while on loan at the Marston Road. He told the Express & Star:

“Ross is a young lad who can come in and do a job for us. He is only a teenager but he has a lot of experience in the league with Port Vale, which shows the sort of standard he is capable of performing at.”

“He is a good player with plenty to offer to us”
