Rance Set To Head Out On Loan

Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler is looking at sending youngster Dean Rance out on loan as the final part of his rehabilitation.

The young midfielder, who signed pro terms in the summer after his Apprenticeship, has been sidelined with injury since pre-season.

And with Gills boss Hessenthaler keen to see some of his young pros get first-team football under their belts Rance could be among those heading out on loan.

Hessenthaler said: “Maybe a few of the young ones can go out and get some games, there are always Clubs phoning up.”

“Dean Rance needs another week of real extensive training and he will be one who needs to perhaps get out and play on loan for a month.”

“He will do a good job for a team because he is young and hungry.”
