We started the week with training on Monday at 6pm; it was just a light training session with a 4 v 4 game. After training we went back to the hotel and had a game of poker but I wish I hadn’t bothered.
On the Tuesday we went to train with Ostersund starting at 8pm and it was absolutely freezing so we did a warm up and went straight into an 8 v 8 game. I enjoyed it more than the training at Ange because it is faster and tests you much more and I feel that I’m getting more out of it. We got back really late and went straight to bed.
I got up late and went to training with Ange we practiced long passing and control and one touch passing then we went into a game with lots of shots.
We had the day off on Thursday so the next time we trained was Friday it was a light session due to the game the next day so we just played for 20 minutes.
Thinking this might be the last time I play for Ange because of a suspension and the slight chance that a win today could put us in with a chance of promotion so I want to put in a good performance. It was an away game fixture against a team from Sundsvall.
We started really well and played well throughout the whole first half passing for ball well and with good movement. We looked like a team even though the pitch was uneven and there was a strong wind. We had a lot of chances but only put one away and we went in at half time 1 – 0 up.
When the game restarted we were going into the wind and it became more difficult to play like we did in the first half. The other team came out with more urgency but we held on for about 30 minutes until we had a sending off. We were against it for the rest of the game and we didn’t really get out of our half but we held on and won the game 1 – 0.
On the Sunday it was one of the player’s birthdays so we all decided to go paintballing which was enjoyable and we all battered him with paintballs from point blank range. Safe to say that his body is a bit bruised!
