Palmer Re-Joins Weymouth

Former Torquay United Apprentice Ed Palmer has re-signed for Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division club Weymouth ahead of Saturday’s FA Trophy clash against Tiverton Town at the Bob Lucas Stadium.

Palmer’s signing is a timely boost for boss Brendon King following a nightmare week of injury problems.

“Ed has been at the club before and can play in several different positions,” said King.

“Primarily he is a defender but he can also play in midfield and will provide us with a lot more options.”

Formerly with Torquay United, Palmer, who has signed non-contract terms, left Kettering Town late last week.
