Oldham Youngsters Go Under Surgeon’s Knife

Oldham Athletic youngsters Djeny Bembo-Leta and Philip McGrath have both undergone surgery.

Bembo-Leta, who signed professional terms in the summer after completing ASE made his first start in the 3-0 victory over Notts County and went on to begin four games.

The 18 year old forward had a pin fixed to his fractured fibula and also had ankle ligament reconstruction.

Midfielder McGrath, also 18, has had an operation to repair an anterior cruciate knee ligament.
