Max Clayton Tipped For England By Brother Harry

Crewe Alexandra striker Harry Clayton has tipped his younger brother and club team-mate Max to play for England.

Max, who is a current 2nd Year Apprentice, has featured for the first-team 12 times this season scoring 2 goals along the way.

His older brother Harry, 18, signed professional terms with the Alex last summer and told BBC Radio Stoke: “Max can go all the way and play for England’s first team in my opinion.”

“He’s still only 17. When he grows a bit more and gets a little bit bigger, I think he can go all the way.”

Harry is yet to feature in a first-team game for Crewe and finds himself currently on loan at Stafford Rangers.

“I think I’ve got good ability,” said Harry. “All I need is to get experience of men’s football and maybe get a bit bigger myself.”

“Hopefully I can have an impact in the next couple of years.”
