LFE's Visit to Fulwood Barracks

LFE’s Visit to Fulwood Barracks

LFE visited Fulwood Barracks on Wednesday for a fun-filled afternoon hosted very kindly by British Army Sport.

Staff from LFE took part in a series of exciting and engaging team building activities at the British Army’s North West Headquarters.

One of the activities – Archery

Staff were also treated to a thought-provoking presentation delivered by Lee Fraser and Barry Rizza, both of whom served in the Army for over 20 years. The pair now work as Sports Engagement Warrant Officers for the British Army and work in partnership with LFE to deliver their STEPS initiative in conjunction with the Army to apprentices all over the country as part of LFE’s career opportunities.

The presentation aims to provide young scholars with all the information needed in relation to a potential future career in the Army, whilst shining a light on the fantastic sporting opportunities available.

Thanks for having us!
