Five Star Crewe Progress in Youth Cup

Crewe Alexandra swept Bolton Wanderers aside in the FA Youth Cup 4th Round with an impressive 5-0 victory at Gresty Road.

Winger Liam O’Neill put Alex in control with two first-half goals before Bolton defender Alex Honeyball’s dismissal for a professional foul on Callum Ainley inside the box compounded matters.

Toby Mullarkey fired home the resultant penalty to hand his side a three-goal advantage.

Ainley then applied the finish to a move that involved first-team player George Cooper and Andre Brown, before substitute Charlie Kirk completed the scoring.

The Railwaymen will now face either Arsenal or Royston Town in the next round.
