Northampton Town youngster Malachi Farquharson has joined Evo-Stik League First Division South club Sutton Coldfield Town.
The youngster was recently released by Northampton Town at the end of his two-year Apprenticeship despite appearing in the first-team squad last term.
He joins the Royals after spending a successful work experience term at Zamaretto League Premier side Banbury United last season.
Assistant-manager Neil Tooth commented: “We have been keeping tabs on Malachi for a while.”
“He’s a local lad and just wants to play football. We are very happy he has agreed to join us and again strengthens the quality we have brought in this summer.”
