Paul Dickov has recalled youngster David Mellor to his squad for tonight’s npower League One match at Hartlepool United.
The 19-year-old defender comes in with left-back Jonathan Grounds suspended for one match.
Mellor only returned to Boundary Park yesterday after a one-month loan spell at Evo-Stik Premier Division side Chorley where he made nine appearances.
Mellor who has featured once for the Latics this campaign at Chesterfield in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy will be hoping to make an impact on the first-team after making 24 appearances last term.
