Today we went to do some work on the training ground with the balls but as ever not before we had had our daily dose of running drills. Today’s running was a thirty-minute interval session consisting of three minutes working and two minutes recovery. Managed to get through the running ok but then had to sit out of the ball work due to a tight hamstring which I was told to rest. Have been advised to ice it frequently by the club staff and see how it reacts. Hopefully it will settle down and I can train again soon!
