My scan results were back today. After being reported on by the radiologist at the clinic the verdict is that there doesn’t seem to be any major damage (i.e no tears or pulls) but it was reported that there was a slight sign that there may be a small pool of blood surrounding the popliteal artery in the popliteal fossa. Which simply means there is a little bit of blood around the artery in the affected area! After discussing the scan results with the other physio at the club, Ed decided that it will be best if we got a second opinion from a knee specialist. Therefore I have an appointment arranged to see the knee specialist tomorrow to see if he can shed a little bit more light on the situation.
