The rest of the lads were given an ‘active rest day’ today after having a game last night. An active rest day isn’t as relaxed as you might imagine. With more emphasis being placed on the word ‘active’ by our coaching staff than the rest part! Todays session was a spinning session followed by some active stretches in the pool thankfully I was given the all-clear to join in with the rest of them and break my cycle of solitary confinement working with the Physios. Although we were working hard on the bikes, we had a bit of a laugh with the banter that was being exchanged between the lads!
