Feel like the soreness and pain has reduced today and this allows me take part in a swimming session with Ed, one of the physios. So while the rest of the lads were out training I found myself splashing around in the pool! I found the session hard but it is crucial to keep my fitness as high as possible whilst I’m out with my injury, so when I finally return to training there is not a big gap between my own and the other players’ fitness levels. Later on this afternoon I spent time in the gym doing upper-body weights and core stability whilst also receiving some treatment for the injury.
