We trained in the morning at 9am and did a long 45-minute circuit where we had 10 stations across the pitch. Some were sprinting circuits, some ¾ pace and others walking and backwards running. It was very hard running as we had a game the day before. We had an ice bath after training, which was not nice, and then we had the rest of the day off to relax and sleep. All the other students moved in today so the dorms were packed. We just chilled round at one of the lad’s houses and watched the football on TV. It’s nowhere near as good as watching it in England because they have American commentators, there’s no Andy Gray and Martin Tyler over here!
Day 16 – Ice Baths!
