Croasdale Targets North End First-Team Spot

Ryan Croasdale has set his sights becoming a regular in the Preston North End first-team after putting pen to paper on his first professional contract.

The 18-year-old midfielder signed a one year deal with the club and is now keen to push himself into Simon Grayson’s plans for next year.

“I’ll train hard and try to get in the squad and start playing. If I can do that I’ll be happy for sure,” said Croasdale. “I think it’s going to be hard, we’ve been involved in training with the first team.”

“It’s a higher standard, it’s faster and you’ve got to be physical so hopefully I should be able to step up.”

“We’ve got a training programme that we’ll have to look through and keep ticking over so hopefully we’ll be able to look forward to the season,” he concluded.
