Today we have been completing a little bit more work towards our coaching badge with our regional PFA coach, Jamie Robinson. We started with going in the classroom for half an hour where we planned out our individual sessions and then we went down to the training ground and actually performed them. Although it was fun taking your own session it can also be quite frustrating as the other lads can take the ‘mickey’ and just act awkward because you are taking the session. Later on this afternoon we went back on the training ground where we did another short finishing session followed by a game. I enjoyed today because the coaching went well plus the actual football has continued to be of a high standard, it was good to have that mix to training and I am now feeling confident about the upcoming game on Saturday.
