Chesterfield Youngsters Go Out On Loan

Chesterfield youngsters Craig Clay and Tendayi Darikwa have joined Blue Square Premier Club Barrow on a month’s loan.

The midfielders will stay at Holker Street until 25th November.

The deal struck between the Clubs will see the pair gain more senior match experience while alleviating some of the Cumbrian Club’s injury problems.

Clay, who was skipper of the U18’s last season, signed a two-year deal with Chesterfield in the summer.

He scored the injury-time leveller Chesterfield’s remarkable 5-5 home draw with Crewe.

Darikwa signed a one-year deal with the Blues in the summer after impressing in the youth side but is still awaiting his debut after being a non-playing substitute
