Celebration Friday | National Apprenticeship Week

As we’re approaching the end of National Apprenticeship Week, it’s Celebration Friday!

Today we celebrate the hard work of over 11,000 apprentices that have graduated from the apprenticeship programme in the 20 years LFE has been supporting delivery. We also celebrate and thank the multitude of dedicated staff, who have encouraged these young players to reach their full potential, at the 102 football clubs LFE have worked with since 2004.

All have gained skills for life through the 7,500 life skills and personal development workshops delivered by LFE and our partner organisations, alongside the football development programme. The experiences apprentices have during their two-year apprenticeship provide them with a wide range of opportunities to have successful and fulfilling futures.

We continue to shine a spotlight on the huge impact apprenticeships have on apprentices, employers and training providers though a variety of case studies and via the EFL Apprentice of the Season Award, celebrated at the annual EFL Awards.
