Congratulations go to Ray Shearwood of Preston North End as the November Apprentice of the Month.
Ray is a 2nd year Apprentice at Preston and is an example to his team-mates for the efforts he has devoted to his Apprenticeship.
At a very difficult time in his personal life Ray has shown great maturity and commitment to the Club and the ASE programme by making sure he attends Preston College and works hard during training sessions.
Pictured below is Ray being presented with his Certificate of Congratulations and the Apprentice of the Month Cup by Sir Tom Finney along with Ray’s Grandad (right), also called Ray.
Ray also puts in extra time after training to ensure his work is completed and demonstrates his aptitude and enthusiasm for the game by coaching two evenings a week with the U9s at the Centre of Excellence.
