The Club Guidance Book is intended to provide a definitive guide to all elements of the ASE programme from the perspective of the Football League Club and should be used as the first port of call in the event of any queries that might arise during the day-to-day delivery of the programme. The Coach Guidance Handbook is intended to provide coaches with the information and guidance to ensure that apprentices successfully complete Units 1 – 4 of the NVQ in Achieving Sporting Excellence. It outlines coach responsibilities and lists all aspects of the units to be covered. Additional copies can be downloaded in PDF format below.
The Assessor Guidance Book aims to provide assessors and internal verifiers for the NVQ Level 3 in Achieving Sporting Excellence with practical guidance and examples of how to plan, carry out, record and cross reference assessments. This guidance aims to provide specific help in various circumstances, and is intended to supplement other guidance from LFE, SkillsActive, Edexcel and the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA).
