Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has signed a new five-and-a-half-year deal at the club.
The 19-year-old has become hot property in recent weeks after starring in Palace’s run to the League Cup Semi Final, which included a man-of-the-match performance at Old Trafford against Manchester Utd in the last round.
The youngster who is rumoured to be interesting Fulham, Liverpool and Newcastle United has scored 5 goals in 26 games so far this season.
Eagles boss Dougie Freedman told the clubs website: “A lot of hard work has seen him develop extremely well over the last year.
“I look forward to seeing him progress even further in a Palace shirt.”
Zaha made his full debut for Palace last term while still an Apprentice and first signed professional terms in November 2010.
This latest development will give Eagles fans hope that they can keep the England Youth International at Selhurst Park for a while longer but the length of the deal should also ensure that the player only moves on if Palace get top whack for him.
