Graduates of LFE’s Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence programme played their part in helping England’s U19s last night as they defeated Russia 2-1.
Declan Rudd (Norwich City), Nathaniel Clyne (Crystal Palace) and Scott Malone (Wolverhampton Wanderers) were joined in the squad by Jordan Clarke (Coventry City) and Apprentice of the Year Nominee, Oscar Gobern as England prepared for their 1st round of European Championship qualifiers scheduled for October.
The squad, which included 12 debutants, will have been keen to show their new boss exactly what they could do.
