On-Loan Bury winger David Worrall is expected to start tonight’s game at Hereford Utd despite being withdrawn with a knee injury during Saturday’s hard fought victory at Darlington.
The 19-year-old has been one of Bury’s better performers so far this season having returned to the club he signed for as an Apprentice before making the move to West Bromwich Albion.
And it was his curling cross which led to Jordan Robertson’s match winner last time out, a goal that gave Bury their first points of the season.
Tipped by many to feature in the promotion shake down come May, Manager Alan Knill will now be hoping that last Saturday’s victory will instil some momentum to The Shakers promotion quest:
“We are up and running and need to kick on from here. The Hereford game will be a tough one as they are a good side.”
“But we can take heart from the way that we played on Saturday and in the second-half of our Carling Cup defeat to West Brom.”
