Colchester United manager Aidy Boothroyd has completed the loan signing of rookie defender Danny Batth from Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Boothroyd moved for the teenage centre-half following injuries to Pat Baldwin, Paul Reid and Lee Beevers.
