First year pro Marley Watkins is keen to become consistent in order to shine for Cheltenham Town in League Two this season.
The 18 year old winger, a product of the Club’s Apprenticeship programme, knows that he must try to avoid impressing one week and producing an indifferent display the following if he is to cement himself in Martin Allen’s first team.
Speaking to the Gloucestershire Echo he said:
“My confidence is coming back and I want to show what I can do again, I think I have got the ability, I just need to be more consistent.”
“The gaffer has told me to play with a smile on my face and that is what I have tried to do.”
