Town Youngsters In International Action

Ipswich Town youngsters Connor Wickham, Josh Carson and Caolan Lavery have all been in international action over the weekend.

Wickham made his second appearance for England U19’s in their 4-0 win over Cyprus on Sunday.

The 17 year old was a second-half substitute in the U19 European Championship qualifying phase game.

England beat Albania 6-1 on Friday and finish their section on Wednesday against hosts Belgium.

Also in U19 European Championship qualifying action were Josh Carson and Caolan Lavery, who were in the Northern Ireland side beaten 2-1 by Germany.

The Irish finish their group section against Andorra on Wednesday.
