Northwich Victoria have given former Bradford City Apprentice Sean Taylforth the opportunity to reignite his career.
The 20 year old was released by The Bantams in the summer of 2008 and has since turned out for Guiseley in the Unibond League and Alsager Town in the North West Counties League, however, the latest move represents a step in the right direction for the youngster.
Having trained with Vics last week he was an unused substitute for their win over Hyde United on Saturday.
Vics Assistant Manager Andy Morrison says the left-sided midfielder will be given a chance with the Blue Square North Club.
Morrison told the Northwich Guardian:
“We’ve been told he’s a decent player, so we asked him down and have had a look at him in training. And to be fair he’s impressed us. He’s got a decent left foot and we want to give him an opportunity to kickstart his career again.”
