Former Walsall skipper Richard Taundry is training with Pelsall Villa as he looks for a return to the professional game.
The 24-year-old defender was released by the Saddlers over the summer and is yet to find another club.
Taundry, who knows Villa boss Craig Timmins from his youth-team days at the Banks’s, has signed up for Midlands Combination Premier outfit as a temporary measure while he tries to find a new Football League club.
“I’ve known Richard for a long time,” said Timmins. “He’s training with us to keep himself fit as he looks to get fixed up with a new club.”
