Southampton youngster Ryan Tafazolli has joined Salisbury City on a one-month loan.
The 19 year old defender joined the Club in time to play a part in Bank Holiday Mondays’ 4-0 win over Chippenham Town.
The 6ft 5ins, central defender enjoyed a similar spell with the Whites last season, featuring in eight Blue Square Premier matches.
Speaking to the Club’s website, Whites Manager Darrell Clarke seemed happy to have got his man.
“I’m delighted to welcome Ryan Tafazolli here. We’re very fortunate to have secured a player of his calibre. He came here on loan last year and did well so he knows the set up and will fit in comfortably.”
“We have a great relationship with Southampton and I’d like to thank the Club and their development team for enabling this move.”
Tafazolli joins former Southampon team-mate Kayne McLaggon and other ex Football League Apprentices Ben Adelsbury (ex Swansea City), Ben Joyce (ex Swindon Town), Kyle Haynes (ex Cheltenham Town) and Jamie Turley (ex Wycombe Wanderers) at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.
