LFE would like to congratulate former scholar, Michael Murray, who was awarded Sports Student of the Year by Hopwood Hall College at the end of June. He achieved a triple distinction for the BTEC National Diploma in Sport, which he completed while at Rochdale FC.
Michael has since been accepted onto the BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Salford University, which is entirely funded by the PFA, and he will commence the course in September.
Regional Officer, Craig Skinner congratulated Michael on his award and added:
“Michael had the foresight to see the value of the qualification from the start and has been rewarded with a commendation from the College. It is also pleasing to see he has been successful in his application to Salford University for the Physiotherapy degree course which will hopefully provide him with a promising future career path.”
LFE would like to thank the staff and tutors at Hopwood Hall College for their contribution to Michaels’ success.
