Watford youngster Marvin Sordell grabbed his fifth goal in six games as the Hornets beat Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
The in-form striker ensured that Malky McKay’s men came away from Yorkshire with all three points when he finished neatly at the near post after Danny Graham’s run and cross from the right on 16 minutes.
And despite going off with a tight hamstring at the break McKay was content with his hit-man’s work, he said:
“We sent Marvin on-loan to Tranmere last year to gain maturity and he’s showing it now.”
