Current Head of Youth Smith, has been promoted to Caretaker Manager after the departure of Chris Hutchings and Martin O’Connor yesterday and was placed at 7/1 with the bookies.
Skybet have also put former Aston Villa Manager, Martin O’Neill, in the running for Walsall FC job with odds of 33/1.
Former Saddlers and Wolves Manager, Colin Lee, is 8/1 to take over the helm at the Banks’ Stadium as is Tamworth manager Des Lyttle.
