Aldershot Town have signed midfielder Jack Randall from Crystal Palace on a one-year deal.
The youngster was released by Palace at the end of last season after completing his two-year Apprenticeship.
Randall, still only 17, is the Club’s second summer signing after the arrival of Darren Jones from Hereford United.
Boss Kevin Dillon told the Club website:
“Jack is one for the future. He is a bit different to what we’ve got and plays off the striker. I’m looking forward to working with him and Reece Connolly. We’ve some youthful talent which is encouraging.”
Randall, who progressed through the Youth team at Selhurst Park added:
“I was recommended to Aldershot and enjoyed the Reserve matches last season. I am delighted that the Club have decided to take me on. I like to link up with the attack but like scoring goals too.”
“My experiences at Crystal Palace were important for my career and I am hoping to show at Aldershot what I am capable of doing.”
“This is a new chapter for me and I want to be a part of Aldershot Town and help take them to a new level.”
