As a first year apprentice at Bristol City FC, Scott not only made his debut for the first team and played regularly for the England under-17 international team, but also completed the BTEC National Award in Sport.
Entering his second year, he progressed on to the BTEC National Certificate in Sport and became a regular in the first team where his impressive performances before Christmas caught the eye of Reading FC who paid £200,000 for him in the January transfer window.
Despite the upheaval of the move, Scott has continued his studies and is due to complete the BTEC in May.
