Saint’s Day For United

Kieron St Aimie while playing for QPR

Former Queens Park Rangers Apprentice Kieron St Aimie scored twice and set up another goal for Maidenhead United as they romped to a 5-0 victory against bottom Club Weymouth last Saturday.

The Magpies five-goal thriller proved to be their best ever Blue Square South win on the road and St Aimie was first on the scoresheet.

Picking the ball up just outside the penalty area, the striker picked his spot and gave Terras keeper Ryan Harrison no chance with a stunning strike. His second came when Harrison fumbled a shot from Kieran Knight and a grateful St. Aimie (pictured while at QPR) was able to sweep the ball into the empty net from close range.

The 20 year old was released by QPR in 2008 and signed for Maidenhead United in the summer. His previous Clubs include Barnet, Thurrock and Hitchin Town.
