Rotherham Duo Sign One-Year Deals

Rotherham United youngsters Tony Thompson and Nicky Walker have signed one-year professional contracts with the club.

Midfielder Walker, who is 18-years-old, made his debut last season coming on as a substitute during a 4-2 victory over Cheltenham.

Goalkeeper Thompson, who like Walker has come through the Millers youth ranks, is yet to make a senior appearance but has been in the matchday first-team squad on 25 occasions.

“Tony and Nicky have made good progress and are fully deserving of the young professional contracts they have now signed,” said Manager Steve Evans.
