Macclesfield Town youngster John Rooney is to spend a few days with Derby County later this week and may play for the Club’s Reserve side on Wednesday.
The 19 year old, who has come through the Silkmen’s Apprenticeship programme is the younger brother of Manchester United and England striker Wayne.
He has made 38 first team appearances for Macclesfield scoring four goals in that time.
