Pre-Season Tour Concludes

LFE’s Pre-Season Tour in Holland came to a conclusion last week and there were some strong performances from our English Clubs before their return to the UK.

Aldershot Town scored an impressive 5-0 victory against Festiland XI on Thursday thanks to goals from George Bowerman, Matt Steer, Tour blogger Adam Mekki and two from Tom Allen.

The Crystal Palace v Huddersfield Town game finished 2-1 to Palace despite the Terriers taking a first half lead courtesy of Warwick Charlton’s goal.

Palace took on Royal Racing FC Montegnee on Friday but, despite their best efforts against a very strong senior squad, fell to a 5-0 defeat with goals from Ryan Wignall x2 (Ex Liverpool), Jordan Anderson (Ex Charlton Athletic), Jon Brown (Ex Cardiff City) and Ismael Ehui (Ex Fulham).

With the Tour drawing to a close, the final day was rounded off with a BBQ, thank you speeches and a successful karaoke night which proved extremely popular with Apprentices and staff alike!
