Pool Sign Duo On Professional Terms

Hartlepool United have signed Apprentices Paul Johnson and Dylan Purvis on professional terms.

The duo who are both defenders have been regular’s in the Pool Reserve side over the last 12 months.

Johnson, 18, is yet to make his senior bow at Victoria Park and spent part of last season on loan at non-league Garforth.

Purvis, 18, who started his career with Sunderland, was a regular in the Reserve team last season.

He was included in the first team squad for Hartlepool’s League One clash with Southend United in December but did not make his debut.
