Pool Boss To Loan Out Young Guns

Hartlepool United

Hartlepool United Director of Sport Chris Turner has confirmed there will be no more new arrivals at Victoria Park before the transfer window closes.

However, he has refused to rule out some of the Club’s younger players moving out on loan.

With Matty Tymon having recently been sent on loan to gain regular football at Whitby, and other young professionals enjoying stints at Barrow and Gateshead, Turner sees this move as part of their development as players.

Talking to the Hartlepool Mail he said:

“I am sending them out on loan because the Reserve league is no good when you keep getting games cancelled.”

“Going out to non-league Clubs gives them a level of first-team football and they can gain confidence from that. It can only help them and certainly won’t do them any harm.”
