Portsmouth striker Ashley Harris has received the Goal of the Month award for his winner in September.
He was awarded the trophy during the half-time interval of Pompey’s clash against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
Harris’ sensational overhead kick on 17 September against MK Dons proved to be the most popular in a month that featured a high standard of spectacular strikes and solo efforts.
“I am really pleased to win this award in the face of some tough competition,” Harris told LFE.
The forward tallied up 1441 votes last month, a safe winner with his nearest competition being a near one thousand votes away.
